Amicable recovery:
Collection of remaining amounts due in the broad sense of the word. 

Depending on the preliminary stage and the needs of our client, actions are or are not extensively provided for within this amicable process, which is always our starting point in the collection process.

(E.g.: formal notices, telephone contact, site visit, etc.)

Judicial duties:
Activities in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions applicable to bailiffs.

Our competences:
Through its size and common structure and thanks to its centralised platform for the management and follow-up of files, Legal Recovery has the competences to successfully complete all types of assignments within the fields of the amicable and judicial recovery of debts, the drawing up of findings and the service of all deeds throughout Belgian territory. Legal Recovery is also competent for the service of judicial documents worldwide, directly by registered letter, through local confraternities or foreign authorities.

Specific features:
The number of bailiffs per judicial district is limited and each bailiff has an area of jurisdiction corresponding to the territory of the province where he is appointed. As a result, a bailiff based in Hainaut, for example, cannot serve deeds in Antwerp. He must therefore call on one of his colleagues in Antwerp to do so, who can then act on his behalf. This obviously complicates and delays the whole procedure and its follow-up.

Since Legal Recovery consists of 20 offices, spread across the 12 Belgian judicial districts and with its exploitation seat in Wolvertem, this territorial limitation is eliminated. The management of the file is centralised from A to Z and the file is passed on internally to one of the offices within the judicial district where the deed must be served. This way, you are guaranteed a high-quality and highly transparent service.

Legal Recovery uses one common IT platform for the complete management of all files, which results in a unique asset for the centralised follow-up or execution of all recovery orders, regardless of the place of execution. Legal Recovery also collaborates with many lawyers throughout Belgium. These different elements guarantee you optimal and simplified handling of all the files you entrust to us, regardless of where you are located and regardless of the judicial district where the deed has to be served.
